Terms of Service

Welcome to Jodidaar ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), a matrimony service operated by Maveric Infotech, Pandharpur, Maharashtra, India. By registering on or using Jodidaar — whether through our website (jodidaar.com) or mobile application — you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to register on Jodidaar.
  • You must be legally eligible to marry under the applicable laws of India.
  • Registration is permitted only for individuals genuinely seeking matrimonial alliances. Creating profiles on behalf of others requires their explicit consent.
  • Jodidaar is intended for residents of India. Access from outside India is not restricted but is governed by Indian law.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid Indian mobile number. Phone numbers are verified via OTP.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information in your profile.
  • You must not create more than one account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Jodidaar is strictly for matrimonial purposes. Commercial use, solicitation, or use for any other purpose is prohibited.
  • You must not share false, misleading, or offensive content in your profile or messages.
  • Sharing contact details (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) in chat is prohibited and will be automatically blocked.
  • You must not harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform.
  • Uploading obscene, adult, or otherwise illegal content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Jodidaar offers Free, Silver, and Gold membership tiers. Features for each tier are described on the Plans page.
  • All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store card details.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly enabled by you.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice.

5. Profile Photos & Content

  • All profile photos are subject to manual moderation before being made visible to other users.
  • By uploading content, you grant Jodidaar a non-exclusive licence to display it within the Platform.
  • You retain ownership of your content. We will not sell or share your photos with third parties.
  • Photographs that are obscene, misleading, or that infringe third-party rights will be rejected.

6. Privacy

  • Your use of Jodidaar is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
  • Contact details are revealed only to Silver and Gold subscribers.

7. Disclaimers

  • Jodidaar facilitates introductions between consenting adults. We do not verify the accuracy of all profile information.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the outcome of any relationship formed through the Platform.
  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jodidaar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the six months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Deactivate Account.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
  • Upon termination, your profile and data will be removed from public view. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pandharpur, Maharashtra.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
